|A beautiful coastal city located just 25 miles northeast of New York City, Stamford, Connecticut has had many changing faces over the past century, evolving from the major port between New Haven and New York City at the turn of the 20th century, to “The Research City” in the 1970s, to the third-largest corporate center in the country in the 1980s.
